Weekend

I hope everyone had a lovely long weekend! I didn't get as much work done as I would have liked but Sam and I had the loveliest few days. After work on Thursday we headed out to my parents place in the Dandenongs. My parents are currently converting one half of their house into a bed and breakfast, and until it opens we get to stay in it whenever we want! It's pretty wonderful. Dad took us for a walk in the forest on Friday in the morning sunshine. It was so beautiful, I really miss living out in the hills. After lunch we trekked via train across the city to Geelong to visit Sam's parents, and we were treated to a couple of amazing feasts down there! 

It was pretty great to come back on Saturday night, feeling like we'd already had a weekend away, and still have two days left. We were pretty productive on Sunday, got a few jobs done around the house and I worked. Then on Monday we spent an awesome day driving in the Yarra Valley with friends.

It was so nice to see family and hang out together non stop. Lots of laziness combined with productivity, the perfect combination! What did you get up to this weekend? Did you eat lots of egg shaped chocolatey treats? (I did, woops!) Tell me things, if you feel inclined! :D
