A litte while ago I was lucky enough to do a little dress swap with one of my favourite handmade clothing makers, Lauren of Blooming Leopold. We both received our dresses last week, and I am so in love with mine: a beautiful version of the Amparo dress (my absolute favourite of Lauren's creations) in pumpkin coloured chambray! My plans to photograph the dress this weekend were thwarted though as I've been stuck on the couch most of the weekend with a cold, but I wanted to share with you Lauren's photos of her new Virgin's dress.
My heart filled with happiness and excitement when I saw these photos of Lauren in Frances Baker! She is such a stunning lady, and the photos are so amazing. By the way, it is perhaps a tad unrelated but I am a wee bit obsessed with Lauren's hair! Have you ever seen anything so thick and luscious? I have thick hair envy! I love the way her dark locks look against the white dress, and those loose wavy curls seem to go perfectly with the romantic style of the Virgins dress. Sigh!
By the way, we have a new, small, furry addition to our house that has been keeping me company on my sick bed this weekend. Can you guess what it is? :D
