I've really been feeling the need for Spring of late. Luckily today showed definite signs of it, with blossoms showing through on the trees on my street, and the sun peeking out through the clouds. The last few weeks though I've been feeling the winter blues, I think I've got cabin fever with all this cold!
These pictures were taken a few weeks back, when we had a blissful spell of winter sunshine. It was so glorious to take a walk and feel the sun on my skin.
The burgundy scarf, skirt, socks and shoes happen to be my winter uniform, I'm quite enamoured with burgundy. Burgundy forever! I also have a very deep love for this vintage coat, which I found last year on a winter day trip to the beach, in a vintage shop near Mornington. It fits like a dream, and is in the most amazing condition for a vintage coat! Thank you for keeping me warm, coat. You are the best friend a girl could have.
Heh, I am so envious that you have winter! It's so hot here, and I can't wait for my beloved months of layering and indoor activities! I supposed the grass is always greener.
