The last month has been ridiculously busy, but very productive too! I can't help but feel things are only going to get busier from here on in though, I can't believe how fast this year is just whizzing by. Months are disappearing in the blink of an eyelid so it seems! I am very excited about all the things I have been working on lately though, and I hopefully will find time later this week to post a little sneak peek of my new collection (if you follow me on instagram you may have already seen a few shots here and there!). I've also been doing some really fun projects with my sister Katherine, which is just the best fun and I can't wait to share!
I took a little break from sewing things for the shop to make myself a dress- one of my own Mountain Dweller dresses. I am not very good at taking time to make myself clothes anymore, so this one kept getting put off, but I really did want it so! Im a bit late for the colder months as it is Spring now here in Melbourne, but I've actually managed to get a fair bit of use out of it, as it's been really good for in-between Spring days.

You look so beautiful on these pictures, Josie !
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to receive and wear my Mountain Dwellers dress too :-)

Thank you Genevieve! I hope you get your dress very soon, it must be almost there by now! Xo
DeleteI love this dress! SO elegant.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
Deleteyou look stunning in these pictures, josie! please tell me how to make my hair look like that.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Liz! Haha I am absolutely HOPELESS with hair, I even struggle just with doing pigtails! Luckily my housemate is a hairstylist, and she fixed me up before we took these pics, so she must take all the glory for this hairstyle!
DeleteP.s you have the most gorgeous hair ever, I am always so envious of your styles!!
Deletei used to have a hair stylist roommate too! those were the days. the grass is always greener i suppose haha :) most days i don't even brush my hair let alone style it. curse my fine hairs!
DeleteSuch lovely pictures! Checking out the shop now :)
ReplyDeleteBest,
Samantha
I am so incredibly smitten by this dress! It seems to have the perfect balance of comfort, wearability and style all rolled into one.
ReplyDeleteCuuuuuuute! Josie you're such a dream gal <3 Your hair looks amazing! These photo's sure make me miss Melbourne and all the lovely ladies residing there xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Katie! :D That is not my natural hair!! Usually it is a scraggly mess that my sister generously describes as 'dank'. My hairstylist friend did styley things to it! (I kinda wish I could bribe her to fix it every day in exchange for baked goods). You should come back to Melbourne asap, there is a bob shaped hole in this city without you!!!
Delete(So much hair talk in that comment!)
DeleteI just discovered your designs trawling through all the crud on etsy. Gorgeous and hand made in Melbourne! Beautiful work, can't wait to see more :-D
